Rev. Curtis Anthony Roberts, Jr.
Pastor Curtis A. Roberts, Jr. is a husband, son, brother, uncle, preacher, teacher, and most importantly a worshipper. One of his favorite sayings is "I'm just a worshipper that God allows to preach."
Pastor Roberts is a fourth-generation preacher who has been spreading the gospel to all who would listen since he could talk. At the age of eight years old, he was brought before the leaders at Mount Pisgah Holy Church (Easton, Maryland) where the then Pastor, Elder Brittingham, laid hands on him and acknowledged the call of God on his life.
He has served in various capacities in the Kingdom and continues to grow in knowledge and wisdom under the mentorship of his biological father, Rev. Curtis A. Roberts, Sr., Pastor of Mills Memorial Baptist Temple (Salisbury, Maryland) and Bishop Larry D. Leonard, Sr., Presiding Prelate and Chief Apostle of New Covenant Churches International (Houston, Texas) along with continued theological studies at Liberty University.
Pastor Roberts’ ministry is based on John 8:32, "You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
With a testimony that only God could author and the Holy Spirit could seal, he is motivated and encouraged despite many ups and downs in life and in ministry. He has been battle-tested, counted out by doctors, even before he was born, shunned by people who couldn't or wouldn't receive the calling and anointing on his life, yet continues to preach and teach with fire and conviction. Armed with the word of God and a burning desire to reach those who have been labeled unlovable, unteachable, and unreachable. He is compelled by any means necessary to share what God has imparted unto him with whoever will receive.
Pastor Roberts was honored to be voted in as Pastor by the members of Emmanuel United Baptist Church, and Installed in July 2018. A dream come true to share the Pastorate alongside his big brother in ministry and dear friend Dr. Rasheed Q. Ray.
He has truly been blessed to have a prayer warrior by his side in the form of Lady Jerika L. Roberts, who is continuously praying with and for him. Above all else, Pastor Roberts lives by the words found in John 13:35, "By this, all men will know that you are my disciples if you love one another."
